- Clean wash and soak dals and rice for 15 minutes. Drain and keep aside..
- Meanwhile heat the ghee in pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf, dry red chilli, kali mirch..

- Add onions, garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add all the chopped vegetable and all spice powder and saute for on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes..
- Add the rice and dals and salt and saute on a medium flame for another 2 minutes..
- Add 4 cups of hot water, mix well and pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistle..
- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid and mix well..
- Serve hot with kadhi, papad, salad and pickle.
